Procedure
A procedure similar to the method described in step C.1 is carried out, starting from 2 g (8.42 mmol) of 5-bromo-2-chloro-3-nitropyridine, 3.14 g (10.11 mmol) of tert-butyl (S)-4-amino-2-tert-butoxycarbonylaminobutanoate hydrochloride and 2.31 g (16.85 mmol) of triethylamine in 30 ml of dioxane. This time the mixture is heated for 12 hours. This gives 3.71 g of the expected product, which is used as it is in the remainder of the synthesis.
