Procedure

5-(N-ethyl-2,2,2-trifluoroacetamido)naphthalene-1-sulfonyl chloride (100 mg) was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (1.0 mL), cooled to 0° C., then concentrated ammonia (0.11 mL) was added. The reaction was stirred at 0° C. for 3 hours, then concentrated and partitioned between water and ethyl acetate. The organic layer was dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and concentrated to give the title compound.
