[3-(2-Formyl-4-trifluoromethyl-phenoxy)-phenyl]-acetic acid (0.12 g, 0.37 mmol), (1R,2S)-(−)-norephedrine (0.056 g, 0.37 mmol), and sodium triacetoxyborohydride (0.12 g, 0.56 mmol) were combined in CH2Cl2(10 mL), and the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The mixture was worked-up to give the title compound. M+H=460.
