Procedure

To N-butyl-3-[4-(ethoxymethyl)-2,6-dimethoxyphenyl]-6-methoxy-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)pyrazolo[5,1-b][1,3]thiazole-7-amine (2.99 g) were added ethanol (7 mL) warmed by hot water and phosphoric acid (14.6M, 410 μL). Heptane was added by 1 mL and the volume totaled 30 mL. The mixture was stirred for 1 hour under shading.
