To a mixture of 3-[4-(ethoxymethyl)-2,6-dimethoxyphenyl]-6-methoxy-N-propyl-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-3-yl)pyrazolo[5,1-b][1,3]thiazole-7-amine (8.1 mg) and ethanol (2 mL) was added concentrated sulfuric acid (0.88 μL). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours and the solvent was removed by blowing nitrogen stream and dried to obtain the title compound (9.8 mg).
