Procedure

To a mixture of N-(cyclobutylmethyl)-3-[2,6-dimethoxy-4-(methoxymethyl)phenyl]-6-methoxy-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)pyrazolo[5,1-b][1,3]thiazole-7-amine (99.0 mg), ethanol (2 mL) and ethyl acetate (1 mL) was added concentrated sulfuric acid (10.5 μL). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure and dried to obtain the title compound (120.4 mg).
