To a solution of 3-(4-(4-chlorophenoxy)phenyl)-1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-4-(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)imidazolidin-2-one (10.0 mg, 0.021 mmol) in DCM (0.3 mL) are added sodium cyanate (5.5 mg, 0.084 mmol) and TFA (6.46 μL, 0.084 mmol). The mixture is stirred at room temperature overnight before removal of the solvent. The residue is purified by preparatory TLC to provide the title compound; HPLC-MS calculated for C25H21ClF3N3O4 (M+H+) 520.1, found 520.1.
