A solution of 2.405 g (5.947 mM) of phenyl di-phenoxyphosphorylmethanesulfonate and 1.66 g (7.73 mM) of 1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)piperidine-4-ylmethylamine in 50 ml of toluene was refluxed overnight. The solvent was then distilled off under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (hexane-ethyl acetate:2/1 to 1/1) to provide the title compound.
