To a solution of 244 mg (0.52 mM) of N-[1-(3-(2-fluorophenoxy)propan-1-yl)piperidin-4-ylmethyl]-5-thia-1,8b-diazaacenaphthylene-4-carboxamide in ethanol (4 ml) was added 1.0 ml (4.0 mM) of 4N-HCl/methanol. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by recrystallization to provide the title compound.
