Procedure
A solution composed of 10 ml of toluene, 100 ml of hexene, 33 mg of this known complex of the formula [Me2Si(Me3SiC5H3)2]NdCl and 20 molar equivalents relative to the neodymium of co-catalyst consisting of a “BuLi/DiBAH” mixture with neodymium/BuLi/DiBAH=1/10/10, then a quantity of a butadiene/ethylene mixture (containing 20 mol % of butadiene), so as to obtain a total pressure in the reactor of P=4 bar when the temperature T was 80° C. were introduced in succession into the reactor under an argon atmosphere. The internal pressure of the reactor was then maintained at 4 bar.
