In analogy to the procedure described for the synthesis of intermediate 1, step 2, the title compound was synthesized from 6-chloro-5-hydroxy-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (example 39, step 2). The title compound was obtained in 66% yield as light yellow foam. MS (m/e): 365.0 (MH+, 100%).
