In analogy to the procedure described for the synthesis of intermediate 1, step 2, the title compound was synthesized from 6-bromo-5-hydroxy-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (example 41, step 3). The title compound was obtained in 56% yield as light yellow solid. MS (m/e): 409.0 (MH+, 100%).
