5-(4-Chlorophenyl)-2-pyridylamine (2 grams) was dissolved in 90 ml acetonitrile and then reacted with 2,6-difluorobenzoyl isocyanate (2.6 grams) under nitrogen at room temperature. A solid formed immediately which, after stirring for about 15 hours, was collected and identified as the desired product by NMR analysis, yield 3.4 grams, m.p. 229°-234° C.
