Non-racemic 2-([1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridin-3-yl)-8-((cis)-3-fluoropiperidin-4-yloxy)quinoline (20 mg, 0.055 mmol) was dissolved in MeOH (2 mL) and treated with 4M HCl in dioxane (1 mL, 4 mmol). The mixture was stirred for 5 minutes then concentrated in vacuo. The residue was dissolved in fresh MeOH and concentrated in vacuo three times to a pale yellow solid (20.7 mg, 86%). Specific rotation: [α]20D=+26° (c=0.45, 1:1 water/95% ethanol).
