Reaction Steps

A mixture of 9-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-3,4-dihydropyrido[2,1-c][1,2,4]thiadiazine 2,2-dioxide (250 mg) and platinum(IV) oxide (25.9 mg) in MeOH (10 mL) was stirred at room temperature under H2 for 20 hr. The reaction mixture was filtered by Celite and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo. The residue was recrystallized from EtOAc-MeOH to give the title compound (68.0 mg) as a white solid.
