The crude compound of step 1 was reacted analogously as described in example 1, step 7, the obtained product dissolved in a small quantity of MOH, mixed with hydrochloric acid (0.1 M) and lyophilized overnight to give 27.6 mg of the title compound in the form of the 2-{4-[2-(2,6-dimethyl-phenoxy)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridine-3-carbonyl]-piperazin-2-yl}-N-methyl-acetamide dihydrochloride.
