A mixture of 2-(2-methoxy-ethoxy)-6-methylamino-5-nitro-N-(trans-4-trifluoromethyl-cyclohexyl)-nicotinamide (170 mg, 0.40 mmol), Ra—Ni (50 mg), MeOH (5 mL) and THF (15 mL) is stirred at rt for 2 h under a hydrogen atmosphere (3.0 bar). The catalyst is removed by filtration and the filtrate is concentrated.
