(E)-3-{1-Benzyl-3′,4′-dihydro-4′-oxo-spiro[piperidine-4,2′(1′H)-quinazoline]-6′-yl}-acrylic acid tert-butyl ester was synthesized starting from 1-benzyl-6′-bromo-3′,4′-dihydro-spiro[piperidine-4,2′(1′H)-quinazoline]-4′-one (600 mg, 1.55 mmol) and tert-butyl acrylate according to the procedure described for Intermediate 1, Step B, giving 486 mg of the product.
