Reaction Steps
To a solution of 4-[3-(1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)-phenyl]-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (1.80 g, 4.76 mmol) in MeOH (2 mL), 2M HCl in Et2O (8 mL) was added and the resulting mixture was stirred for 6 h at room temperature.
