1-{4-Fluoro-5-(2-fluoropyridin-3-yl)-1-[(4-methylpyridin-2-yl)sulfonyl]-1H-pyrrol-3-yl}-N-methylmethanamine hydrochloride (751 mg) was dissolved in saturated aqueous sodium hydrogen carbonate, and extracted twice with ethyl acetate. Combined organic layers were washed with saturated brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound as a pale-yellow oil (yield 647 mg, 95%).
