Reaction Steps
To a suspension of example 31 (0.2 g, 0.366 mM) in 15 mL of methanol is added NaOCH3 (10 eq.) and the reaction mixture is refluxed for 6 h. The reaction mixture is concentrated and quenched with water. The resulting solid is filtered and dried to obtain the desired compound.
