Reaction Steps
10 g (0.052 mol) of the K salt of 3-methyl-thiobenzoic acid and 5.6 g (0.05 mol) of chloromethyl thiocyanate were reacted and processed as in Example 1 B. 9.9 g of an oily liquid having a density of 1.27 (this corresponds to a yield of 79% of the theoretical conversion).
