Reaction Steps
The 3-ethylamino-2-morpholino-4-nitroquinoline (0.7 g, 0.0023 mol) was dissolved in a mixed solvent of methanol and tetrahydrofuran (15 ml) and subjected to catalytic reduction in the presence of 10g palladium-on-carbon (0.3 g), thereby obtaining 4-amino-3-ethylamino-2-morpholinoquinoline in an amount of 0.5 g (yield, 79%).
