Reaction Steps
A mixture of N-benzoylethyl piperazine dihydrochloride (1.5 g, 5 mmol), 4-acetamino-benzylchloride (1.1 g, 6 mmol) and K2CO3 (3.2 g, 24 mmol) in 60 ml of acetone was treated according to general preparation 2 to give compound (IV-21) yield 65%, mp 238-240° C. M+ 351.
