A mixture of N-cinnamyl piperazine dihydrochloride (2.75 g, 10 mmol), 2-bromo-1-(5-chloro-6-methoxynaphthalen-2-yl)propan-1-one (1.05 g, 3.2 mmol) and K2CO3 (1.3 g, 9.5 mmol) in 50 ml of CHCl3 was treated according to general preparation 2 to give 3.65 g of compound (IV-35), yield 70%. M+ 449.
