2,4-Bis{2-hydroxy-N-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)ethylamino}-6-chloro-1,3,5-triazine (3.0 g) and n-decylamine (1.5 g) were dissolved in dioxane (70 ml), followed by addition of potassium carbonate (1.0 g). The mixture was refluxed for 5 hours with stirring. After completion of the reaction, dioxane was distilled off and the resulting residue was recrystallized from ligroin to give the desired product as white crystals melting at 106°-107° C.
