2,5,6-Trimethyl-indan-2-ylamine is prepared from 1,2-dimethylbenzene by procedures analogous to those used for 2-methyl-2,3,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-1H-cyclopenta[b]naphthalen-2-ylamine.
