Reaction Steps
(R)-tert-butyl 2-(5-(4-chlorobenzyl)pyrimidine-4-yl)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate from step C was treated with 4M HCl in dioxane (10 mL) for 2 h. Removal of the solvent in vacuo gave the product in quantitative yield as an oil, which was used in the next step without purification. MS: calculated: 273.1 found (MH+): 274.3.
