Reaction Steps
In close analogy to the procedure described in Example 1, 2,6-dichloroquinoline-3-carboxylic acid is reacted with 5-methoxy-DL-tryptophan to provide the title compound in 85% yield as yellow needles (flash chromatography on SiO2, eluent CHCl3, MeOH, AcOH—10, 1, 0.2).
