To a solution of 34-1 (72.5 mg, 0.18 mmol) in THF (1 mL) and water (1 mL), was added potassium cyanate (30 mg, 0.37 mmol), acetic acid (0.2 mL) and water (1.8 mL). The biphasic solution was stirred at room temperature for 2 h then concentrated, dissolved in DCM and purified on preparative HPLC to give 37-1: LC-MS 454.1 (MH), tR=6.42 (Method 2). EC50: 71 nM.
