To a suspension of compound 429 (1.00 g, 2.82 mmol) in DCM (5.0 mL) was added a solution of copper(II) sulphate pentahydrate (35.2 mg, 0.14 mmol) in H2O (4.0 mL), and TEA (1.18 mL, 8.45 mmol). The crude trifluoromethansulfonic azide was added slowly under stirring to the reaction mixture followed by by MeOH (5 mL). After 18 h at RT the reaction mixture was poured into a mixture of EtOAc/NaHCO3(aq.). The organic phase was washed with water, brine, filtered and concentrated in vacuo to give the crude product. The crude product was purified by continuous gradient flash chromatography using EtOAc/petroleum ether (40-60) 0:100 to 25:75 as the eluent to afford the title compound as yellow solid.
