Following the procedure as described in Example 19, making variation as required to replace 4-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl bromide with 4-(chloromethyl)-3,5-dimethylisoxazole to react with 4-methyl-2-(5-oxo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-4(5H)-yl)-N-(pyridin-3-ylmethyl)thiazole-5-carboxamide, the title compound was obtained as a white solid in 45% yield: mp 233-234° C. (ethyl acetate/hexane); 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.74 (br s, 1H), 8.60 (br s, 1H), 8.22 (s, 1H), 7.87-7.80 (m, 1H), 7.52-7.31 (m, 1H), 6.51 (t, J=5.8 Hz, 1H), 4.74 (s, 2H), 4.64 (d, J=5.8 Hz, 2H), 2.64 (s, 3H), 2.48 (s, 3H), 2.32 (s, 3H); MS (ES+) m/z 426.1 (M+1).
