To 1-(benzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)cyclopropanecarbonyl chloride (45 mg, 0.2 mmol) in pyridine (2 mL) was added 2,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-4-amine (31 mg, 0.2 mmol) and the reaction mixture was stirred at 115° C. for 15 hours. The solvent was evaporated to dryness and the residue redissolved in DMF, filtered and purified by reverse-phase preparative liquid chromatography utilizing a gradient of 0-99% acetonitrile in water containing 0.05% trifluoracetic acid to yield the pure product. ESI-MS m/z calc. 343.3, found 344.1 (M+1)+. Retention time 2.87 minutes.
