Reaction Steps
3 g. of 2-[4-(1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-4-quinolyl)-phenoxy]-2-methyl-propyl bromide are dissolved in 20 ml. of DMF, 3 g. of anhydrous potassium acetate are added and the mixture is stirred for 3 hours at 60° C. Working up in the usual manner gives 2-[4-(1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-4-quinolyl)-phenoxy]-2-methyl-propyl acetate.
