3c (400 mg, 0.72 mmol), 4-fluorobenzeneboronic acid (150 mg, 1.07 mmol), potassium carbonate (247 mg, 1.79 mmol), and Pd(PPh3)4 (82 mg, 0.07 mmol) were dissolved in 2:1 DME:H2O (10 mL) at degassed for 5 minutes with N2. The reaction was then sealed and heated to 80° C. overnight. After cooling to room temperature, the reaction was concentrated and purified by silica gel chromatography (10% MeOH in CH2Cl2) to give the desired product, 3d.
