Reaction Steps
A mixture of (4-benzyloxyphenyl)-[3-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-(5-methyl-[1,2,4]oxadiazol-3-yl)-2-nitrophenyl]methanone (reference example 22-42) (395 mg) and a 25% hydrogen bromide-acetic acid solution (10 mL) was stirred at 45° C. for 2 hours. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (310 mg).
