{(1R,2R)-2-(Di-tert-butoxy-phosphoryloxy)-1-[2-(4-heptyloxy-phenyl)-ethyl]-1-methyl-propyl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (40 mg, 0.067 mMol) is dissolved in a saturated solution of HCl in methanol (5 ml) and stirred at RT for 24 hours. The solvent is evaporated under reduced pressure. Lyophilisation from dioxane/H2O (3:1) gives the title compound as a white, amorphous powder.
