Reaction Steps
10 gm of 11-oxo-11-H-pyrido[2,1-b]quinazoline-2-carboxylic acid chloride, prepared as in Example 12, were introduced into a mixture consisting of 200 ml of dioxane and 50 ml of concentrated ammonia, and the resulting mixture was stirred for 5 hours at room temperature. Thereafter, the reaction mixture was acidified with dilute acetic acid, and the crystals precipitated thereby were collected by suction filtration, yielding the compound of the formula ##STR22##
