The title compound was prepared from a mixture of 4-chloro-2-(4-pyridinyl)-6-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidine (50 mg, 0.193 mmol) and 2,5-dimethoxyaniline (32 mg, 0.193 mmol) similar to Example 13 and isolated as a light tan solid (15 mg, 21%). 1H NMR (CDCl3): 8.79 (dd, J=1.8, 4.8 Hz, 2H), 8.31 (dd, J=1.8, 4.8 Hz, 2H), 8.02 (bs, 1H), 7.59 (s, 1H), 6.98 (s, 1H), 6.90 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 1H), 6.69 (dd, J=2.9, 9.2 Hz, 1H), 3.90 (s, 3H), 3.87 (s, 3H).
