A stirred solution of (1-Benzyl-1H-indazol-5-yl)-(6-chloro-pyrido[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)-amine (0.165 g), 2-(tri-n-butylstannyl)furan (0.139 g) and bis-(triphenylphosphine)palladium (II) chloride (30 mg) in dioxane (10 ml) was heated at reflux under nitrogen for 65 hr (Procedure B). The cooled mixture was absorbed onto silica and chromatographed to give the title compound as an orange solid; δH CDCl3 9.34(1H,s), 8.82(1H,s), 8.70(1H,d), 8.15(1H,d), 8.10(1H,s), 7.65(1H,d), 7.60(1H,s), 7.53(1H,dd), 7.40(1H,d), 7.25(6H,m), 5.60(2H,s); m/z (M+1)+353.
