To a solution of (S)-tert-butyl 1-(3-(2-(2-fluorophenyl)thiazole-4-carboxamido)pyridin-4-yl)piperidin-3-ylcarbamate (100 mg, 0.2 mmol) in 1,4-Dioxane (6 mL) was added 4.0 M of Hydrogen chloride in 1,4-Dioxane (3 mL). The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The mixture was concentrated and the residue was purified by reverse phase HPLC. (10.7 mg, 10.0%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO) δ 9.24 (s, 1H), 8.68 (s, 1H), 8.40 (t, J=7.1, 1H), 8.32-8.26 (m, 2H), 7.67-7.61 (m, 1H), 7.53-7.43 (m, 2H), 7.16 (d, J=5.3, 1H), 3.04 (s, 2H), 2.75 (t, J=9.5, 1H), 2.61-2.54 (m, 1H), 1.92-1.86 (m, 1H), 1.81 (d, J=4.2, 1H), 1.73 (d, J=9.9, 1H), 1.33-1.23 (m, 1H); ESIMS m/z=398.1 (M+1).
