At room temperature, 3-methoxy-2,2-dimethylpropionic acid 5-[(R)-[3-(2-acetoxyethoxy)-2-fluoro-5-methoxyphenyl]-(4-{amino[2-meth ylallyloxycarbonylimino]methyl}phenylamino)methyl]-2-pyrimidin-2-yl-2H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-yloxymethyl ester (Example 6f, 100 mg) was dissolved in ethyl acetate (10 mL), and a solution of ethanesulfonic acid (14.2 mg) in ethyl acetate (1 mL) was added dropwise thereto. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour, and the precipitated solid was filtered. The filtrate obtained was washed with TBME and dried. The captioned compound (103 mg) was obtained.
