Reaction Steps
4M HCl in dioxane (12 mL) was added to a solution of the product from step (v) (6.7 g) in MeOH (100 mL) and stirred at rt for 18 h. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, the residue triturated with diethyl ether, filtered and dried. Yield 5.53 g.
