HCl (2 mL of a 4 N solution in dioxane) was added to a solution of 7-ethyl-2-(2-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-imidazol-1-yl)-5-methyl-8-(1-((2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy)methyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-7,8-dihydropteridin-6(5H)-one (Example 342, 49 mg, 0.0893 mmol) in 2 mL of methanol and the resulting solution was stirred at 60° C. for 2 hours. The mixture was concentrated under vacuum and purified by HPLC to give the title compound. 1H-NMR (CDCl3, 400 MHz): δ: 7.90 (s, 1H), 7.75 (s, 1H), 7.50-7.54 (m, 3H), 7.35 (s, 2H), 7.03-7.07 (m, 2H), 4.59-4.61 (m, 1H), 3.46 (s, 3H), 1.98-2.03 (m, 1H), 1.77-1.84 (m, 1H), 0.84 (t, 3H, J=7.4 Hz); LCMS: 418.9 m/z (M+H)+; ret. Time: 3.98 min (Analytical Method C).
