The title compound was prepared from 2-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)thiophen-3-amine and 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)acetic acid using protocol B. The solution was directly purified by HPLC to yield N-(2-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)thiophen-3-yl)-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)acetamide. Method [7] Retention time 5.22 min by HPLC (MH+ 314). 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 9.94 (broad s, 1H), 8.00 (d, J=5.7 Hz, 1H), 7.61 (d, J=2.7 Hz, 1H), 7.39 (d, J=1.8 Hz, 1H), 7.27 (m, 2H), 6.94 (m, 3H), 6.35 (t, J=2.4 Hz, 1H), 3.87 (s, 3H), 3.71 (s, 2H).
