Procedure
To a solution of the 4-[9-(5-Cyclopropylcarbamoyl-2-methyl-phenyl)-9H-purin-6-yl]-benzoic acid methyl ester (65 mg, 0.15 mmol) in 1 mL of methanol was added 1 mL of hydrazine monohydrate. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 hours. The methanol was removed and then 2 mL of water was added. The product was collected by filtration to give a colorless solid (47 mg, 72%). HPLC tR=1.62 min; MS m/z 428 [M+H]+.
