Procedure

Mitsunobu coupling of 4-Bromo-3-methyl-phenol and 4-(4-Hydroxymethyl-phenyl)-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester as described in a previous example gave 4-[4-(4-Bromo-3-methyl-phenoxymethyl)-phenyl]-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester.
