The title compound was prepared from ethyl 4-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-methylimidazole-2-carboxylate and 2 M NH3 in MeOH following the method of example 36, step B (method B). LC-MS: Rt=3.6 min. m/e=379.9 (M+1).
