The title compound (0.031 g) was prepared from 3-(4-chloro-phenyl)-4,5,7,8-tetrahydro-1H-1,2,6-triaza-azulene-6-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (Example 59, Step C, 0.1 g) using 1-iodopropane (0.33 mL) in place of benzyl chloride. The reaction sequence also yielded 3-(4-chloro-phenyl)-2-propyl-4,5,7,8-tetrahydro-2H-1,2,6-triaza-azulene-6-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester in the alkylation step. MS (ESI): exact mass calculated for C16H20ClN3, 289.13; found, m/z 290.2 [M+H]+. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CD3OD): 7.39-7.35 (m, 4H), 4.03 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 3.37-3.35 (m, 2H), 3.27-3.24 (m, 2H), 3.15-3.13 (m, 2H), 2.95-2.93 (m, 2H), 1.76-1.69 (m, 2H), 0.84 (t, J=7.4 Hz, 3H).
