Reaction Steps
2-(1-Ethyl-1-hydroxy-propyl)-benzofuran-5-carboxylic acid methyl ester (0.92 g, 3.507 mmol) and 2-isopropylphenol (0.716 g, 5.26 mmol) and BF3-Et2O (249 mg, 1.753 mmol) are reacted analogous to Example 1D to give the title compound (1.25 g, 94%).
